Kalandra’s History

A married couple by the names of Mr. Jati Seputro and Mrs. Pertimi lived in 1965 in the village of Tirtohargo, Bantul, Yogyakarta. They were a modest family whose existence depended on a plot of land that they both farmed. They both farm and keep cattle as a means of subsistence in their everyday activities. Due to the low cost of purchasing manufactured fertilizer and the restricted amount of land, this modest family uses organic farming techniques.

Fifty years have passed since a simple farming family couple, Mr. Jati Seputro and Mrs. Pertimi, began their journey towards organic farming. With hard work and unwavering passion, they successfully practiced organic farming and raised livestock in their business. However, they want to continue the legacy of this family for the next generation.

PT Kalandra Berkat Indonesia was founded in 2021 by a visionary young couple named Wahyupersito and Andriana Alifianita Sutrisno. This young couple has a desire to bring healthy and environmentally friendly food to the community. Inheriting Family Values, Wahyu and Andriana grew up in an environment of love and shared values. Since childhood, they have learned about the importance of loving nature and keeping the environment clean.

Expanding the Footprint of Organic Farming With the same spirit, Wahyu and Andriana took a bold step by establishing an officially recognized organic farming company. Their goal is to expand their family’s organic farming legacy, making the business more professional and able to compete in an ever-growing market. They conduct in-depth research on modern organic farming practices and recent innovations in this field. With the new knowledge they gained, they chose to expand the territory of their family garden and introduce more efficient and sustainable organic farming methods.
